SASKATOON – Saskatoon police are investigating the city’s third homicide of 2015. Police say a suspicious death on Wednesday morning is now a murder investigation.

A woman was found injured on Cedar Villa Estates Road near Valley Road around 6 a.m. She was taken to hospital where she died a short time later.

Police were able to identify the woman through pictures released to the public. Her name has not been released at the request of the victim’s family.

An autopsy has been carried out however police are not releasing the cause of death at this time.
