Regina – At roughly 4:49 a.m. on Wednesday morning a huge cloud of smoke caught the attention of the Regina Police Service at a home in the 2000 block of Halifax Street.
By the time Regina Fire Services arrived on scene, the occupant of the home was being treated by EMS for minor injuries.
Fire officials say the blaze originated from a motor home on the south side of the house and spread, completely engulfing the home.
Due to the age of the structure, the house was deemed unstable for fire crews to enter, and a total loss.
The cause of the fire isn’t known, and the investigation remains ongoing.
