Abandoned baby found at end of driveway in London, Ont.

WATCH: Catherine McDonald has the details on how a man discovered a baby alone at the end of his neighbour’s driveway in the cold.

LONDON, Ont. – A London, Ont., man made a shocking discovery when he left his house for work this morning and found an abandoned baby at the end of his neighbour’s driveway.

The incident happened around 5:40 a.m. as Anthony Franze was leaving his home and heard a noise he thought was a cat.

Franze said he looked to where the crying was coming from and saw a baby in a car seat at the bottom of his neighbour’s driveway.

WATCH: Const. Ken Steeves of the London Police says they are in touch with the baby’s parents and are trying to find out how and why their infant was left in the cold on its own.

The baby was dressed in pyjamas and had a blanket, but Franze says its hands and face were exposed to the cold morning air.
