Man found with multiple stab wounds taken to Saskatoon hospital

SASKATOON – Saskatoon police are investigating a stabbing Saturday afternoon in the Westview neighbourhood. Initially, police received a 911 call around 2:15 p.m. from a residence in Westview Place indicating that a man had been stabbed.

A 23-year-old man was found suffering from multiple stab wounds in a parking lot near the intersection of 33rd St and Avenue W North. He was taken to hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.

Police arrested a suspect in a nearby residence.

No names have been released and the investigation is ongoing.
