Around 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, Halifax police were called to a disturbance at a residence on North Street near Maynard Street. Responding officers found a young woman who had been stabbed, and she was taken to hospital.

After the Emergency Response Team arrived to help contain the area, two more women were taken from the scene — Bauer and another victim who had been stabbed.

Both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Bauer was due to appear in court on Thursday.
