Impaired driving charges pending after Battleford, Sask. rollover

BATTLEFORD, Sask. – A man is facing impaired driving charges after a rollover in the town of Battleford, Sask. It happened late Friday night at the intersection of 35th Street West and 3rd Avenue.

Battleford RCMP say the vehicle rolled and came to rest on its roof in the front yard of a residence. A parked vehicle and the yard were damaged in the crash.

One person was trapped. Battleford firefighters extracted the man who was taken to hospital for treatment. There is no work on his current condition.

A second man in the vehicle was not injured. He was arrested and police say they are pursuing charges.
