Actor J.P. Manoux charged with voyeurism

TORONTO — Actor Jean-Paul Manoux was arrested Tuesday and charged with voyeurism.

The 45-year-old, known professionally as J.P. Manoux, is accused of spying on two women who rented his Toronto condo.

The women, aged 25 and 27, allegedly discovered video cameras connected to the Internet inside the condo unit.

Manoux, a native of California, is scheduled to appear in Toronto court on March 11.

In addition to guest roles in shows like Modern Family, Hot in Cleveland and Bones, Manoux is a regular on the Canadian sitcom Spun Out, which is filmed in Toronto.

He has appeared in several other made-in-Canada shows including Transporter, Warehouse 13, InSecurity and Smallville.

Manoux’s long list of credits also includes small parts in movies including Meet the Fockers, Galaxy Quest and Scary Movie 5.

Investigators believe there could be more victims and are asking previous tenants of Manoux’s condo to come forward.
