SASKATOON – Two people were injured and four men are in custody after a home invasion Tuesday in Saskatoon. It happened just before 2 a.m. at an apartment in the 1600-block of Central Avenue.
Police say three men entered the apartment and proceeded to physically assault and restrain a man and a woman. Both victims were taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The victims were able to give officers a description of the suspects and a vehicle with three men matching the suspects’ description was stopped. A search of the vehicle turned up weapons, drugs and cash.
A fourth man believed to have been involved was located a short time later and arrested.

The four, ranging in age from 20 to 23, are facing a number of charges including assault with a weapon, unlawful confinement and robbery. Their names have not been released.
Police do not believe it was a random incident and continue to investigate.
