Police were called to the house (in the Parliament and Wellesley area) around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The woman was reportedly going through her father’s belongings when she discovered the explosives.

A bomb specialist was dispatched to pack the dynamite and bring the explosives to a safe area at the Leslie Street Spit where the explosives were detonated.
