September 18, 2024
At an apology ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, Metis Elder Jim Durocher said it is an honour to be part of the reconciliation process. Durocher said the "legacy of colonization" has left scars on Indigenous people and "routine discrimination" by medical professionals continues to this day.
