WATCH ABOVE: An overnight shooting near an Etobicoke strip club – the House of Lancaster – has left a man fighting for his life in hospital.
TORONTO – A man is in hospital following a shooting at an Etobicoke strip club overnight.
Police received a call at around 2:45 a.m. of multiple shots fired in a parking lot of the House of Lancaster on the Queensway.
Officers arrived to find a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
He was rushed to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
There’s no word yet on suspects in the shooting.
Paid duty officers had been hired to work an event at the club and were on the scene at the time of the shooting.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage to determine if the victim had been inside the club.
Authorities are also encouraging witnesses to come forward.
