Record-breaking temperatures in parts of Manitoba

WINNIPEG-Above seasonal temperatures and low-lying cloud made for foggy conditions Saturday in Winnipeg. Outside the city though, some communities broke records with their unseasonably warm day.

Wasagaming reached a high of 6.3°C shattering the previous record set there in 1998 when it was 2.7°C. Also in 1998, it was -1.3°C in Thompson and Saturday the Northern Manitoba city reached a high of -.8°C.

Shoal Lake also set a record Saturday with the high there reaching 3.8°C. The previous record there was set in 1999 with a high of 3.1°C.

Roblin, Manitoba just barely broke its record of 4°C set in 1999 with a high of 4.1°C Saturday.
