Fuel thief sought by Saskatchewan RCMP

NEILBURG, Sask. – RCMP are asking for the public’s help identifying an unknown man connected to a theft of gasoline two weeks ago in west-central Saskatchewan. On Nov. 12, a suspect used stolen property at a Co-op cardlock site in Neilburg, Sask.

The complainant says his gas card and other identification were stolen from his vehicle while he was playing hockey at the arena in the village.

Investigators have obtained video surveillance footage showing a suspect described as a Caucasian male with a long “un-kept” goatee using the stolen gas card to purchase an undisclosed amount of fuel.

A dark-coloured pickup with a slip tank was also observed in the area just before the theft occurred.
