NEW YORK – The lights in Times Square are about to get a lot brighter.
A megascreen is set to light up Tuesday night in front of the Marriott Marquis hotel. It’s billed as Times Square’s biggest and most expensive digital billboard.

It’s 8 stories tall and runs the length of a football field. It’s located at what’s known as the “bow tie,” where Seventh Avenue intersects with Broadway.

The New York Times says the Universal Everything studio collective will animate the screen until Nov. 24. Then Google will take over as the debut advertiser.
Google and Clear Channel declined to comment on the terms of Google’s deal.
