KITIMAT, B.C. – A 26-year-old Alberta man has died after falling off a cliff near Kitimat, B.C.
RCMP Sgt. Graham Morgan says police received a message from an emergency beacon at about 9 p.m. on Monday that a hunting guide had fallen.

Search and rescue crews arrived at the scene near the Kemano River at almost 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Morgan says the man had died of his injuries by then.
Police and the BC Coroners’ Service are investigating the incident.
The man’s name has not been released pending notification of his family.
