The warning includes High Level, Rainbow Lake, Fort Vermilion, and Mackenzie Highway.

Freezing rain is expected to begin overnight and continue into Thursday morning.
“A warm front moving in from the west is bringing a lot of moisture from the coast,” said Global Edmonton Chief Meteorologist Nicola Crosbie.
“This, combined with a cold air in place in the northwestern corner of the province, will bring a possibility of freezing rain.”
Surfaces like highways, roads, walkways and parking lots could become icy and slippery.
“Edmonton is expecting a warm, rainy day Thursday, with snow arriving on Sunday,” said Crosbie. “Up to five centimetres is possible.”
Freezing Rain Warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
