SASKATOON – A big third period was the difference for the Saskatoon Blades.

The Blades scored three times in the final 20 minutes to get past the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-2 on Tuesday night in Western Hockey League action.

Ryan Graham led the offensive charge with a goal and two assists for Saskatoon (5-9-0). Adam Henry, Cameron Hebig, Austin Adamson and Sam McKechnie rounded out the attack.

Brayden Point struck twice for the Warriors (6-8-1).

Nik Amundrud kicked out 30 shots for the win while Zach Sawchenko made 29 saves for Moose Jaw.

The Blades converted twice on six chances while the Warriors were 1 for 4.

In other action, Nick McBride turned away 29 shots to record the shutout as Prince Albert blanked Kootenay 5-0.

Craig Leverton, Josh Morrissey, Tim Vanstone, Jayden Hart and Dyland Stewart all had goals for the Raiders (6-8-0).

Wyatt Hoflin made 41 saves for the Ice (3-12-0) in the loss.
