TORONTO – A number of road closures and parking restrictions will be in place today for the funeral service of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo.
The City of Hamilton has issued an advisory strongly encouraging citizens attending the proceedings to use public transit.

The procession is scheduled to begin at Bayfront Park at 11:00 a.m., head south along Bay Street North, then east along York Boulevard and then north along James Street North concluding at Christ’s Church Cathedral.
The road closures will be in effect between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. and they are as follows:
- Queen St. to Stuart St.
- Strachan St. to John St.
- John St. to Wilson St.
- Queen St. to York Blvd.
In addition, York Blvd. will be closed from Dundurn St., east to John St.
There will also be no parking or stopping on the following roads between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.:
- York Blvd. between Hess Street North and James Street North
- James Street North between York Blvd. and Barton Street
- Hughson Street North between Cannon Street and Barton Street
- Bay Street North between Bayfront and King Street West
