TORONTO – Here’s a look at a selection of national and international newspaper front pages the day after a Canadian soldier was killed during a “terrorist” attack in Ottawa.

One suspect was shot dead after Cpl. Nathan Cirillo was gunned down at the National War Memorial in the nation’s capital Wednesday morning, in what Prime Minister Stephen Harper called a “terrorist attack.”

The attack captivated much of the world Wednesday and dominated newspaper front pages both nationally and internationally Thursday morning.
