MONTREAL — 26-year-old Andy Duroseau is facing charges of attempted murder and firearm violations after a shooting in Dollard-des-Ormeaux Friday night.
According to Montreal police spokesperson Manuel Couture, police received a 9-1-1 call at 7:40 p.m. to report that shots had been fired from a vehicle at the corner of Roger Pilon and Barnett Streets, near the St. Jean Boulevard Pharmaprix.

A woman was discovered at the scene when police arrived, and she was transferred to hospital to be treated for shock.
Shortly after, the suspect was arrested and is being held in police custody for questioning.
Couture confirmed that a crime scene had been erected, and with the help of a canine unit, police were able to locate the gun.
According to unconfirmed reports, the shots were fired in the Pharmaprix parking lot close to a car with a pregnant woman in it.
The suspect is known to police.
