TORONTO – Councillor and Speaker of Toronto City Council Frances Nunziata has held her seat in Ward 11, York South-Weston, in the 2014 election.
Nunziata easily beat the two other candidates running in the ward, with more than 71 per cent of the vote.
Nunziata won in 2010 with almost 67 per cent of the vote. Her brother, John Nunziata, was running for council as well, but lost to incumbent Frank Di Giorgio in Ward 12.
