TORONTO – Electricity has been restored to over 6,000 Toronto Hydro customers in East York following a power outage due to an error by contractors during a construction dig Tuesday afternoon.
The affected area was from Queen Street in the south to just north of the Danforth Avenue and east of Main Street to Lutrell Avenue.
Toronto Hydro says power came back on at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.
