A man fishing off the coast of Bonita Springs, Florida, was left reeling after snagging a shark which was then devoured by a larger fish.

In a video posted to YouTube the fish, identified as a Goliath grouper, can be seen circling the four-foot- long black tip shark before gobbling up the hooked shark.
“Wow! Oh my god! Oh my god did he just eat it?” the shocked fisherman can be heard saying in the aftermath of the attack.

The Goliath grouper can reach over two metres in length and weigh over 400 kilograms according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The conservation commission also states the grouper is a prohibited species, meaning it must be immediately returned to the water unharmed upon being caught.
