TORONTO – A woman has died after being struck by a van in Scarborough Wednesday.
She was one of two people who were crossing Victoria Park Avenue at approximately 4:30 p.m. when they were hit by the van that was turning southbound onto Eglinton Avenue.

Both were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The woman later succumbed to her injuries.
The intersection of Victoria Park Avenue and O’Connor Drive is closed and traffic in the area could be slow for hours as police investigate.
