WATCH: Race official clipped by pace car at Gastown Grand Prix released from hospital

In dramatic video posted on Facebook, it shows a woman being clipped by the Lamborghini pace car  at the end of the women’s event at the Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix.

Cycling Commissaire Gloria Bordon was an official at the event, in charge of meeting the riders at the finish line and checking to see if they needed anything.

From the video of the incident, it appears Bordon crossed the path of the fast-moving Lamborghini just as the riders were about to finish.

The force of the collision knocked the side view mirror from the car.

Organizers say Bordon is ok and none of her bones was broken. She is now out of hospital and resting.

The Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix is one of many cycling events taking place in the Lower Mainland in the next week.
