Germany scores 5 goals against Brazil in 30 minutes, Twitter goes crazy

TORONTO – In the first 30 minutes of play between Germany and Brazil at the World Cup semifinals, Germany scored 5 goals to the shock of many soccer fans betting on the host team to go all the way.

While fans in the stands at the game cried, screamed and generally looked like life was over, many took to Twitter to comment on what they were witnessing.

Some people blamed Brazil’s sloppy play on the fact that star player Neymar is out with an injury for the rest of the World Cup.

After the halftime break things didn’t get any better as Germany took another two goals.

With a minute left in the game, Brazil got their first and only goal.

With Germany’s win Brazil is now eliminated from the 2014 World Cup final. Hopefully this poor kid gets over it.
