Calgary Flames select forward Sam Bennett in first round of NHL draft

CALGARY- With the fourth overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, the Calgary Flames have picked Sam Bennett.

The 18-year-old left winger played with the Kingston Frontenacs in the Ontario Hockey League. In his second season with the team, he was ninth in the league with 91 points in 57 games.
