WATCH: Canadian Olympic, Paralympic athletes groove to ‘Happy’

TORONTO — The Canadian Olympic Committee posted a video Monday showing Olympic and Paralympic athletes getting groovy to the popular Pharrell Williams’ song, “Happy”.

The video was shot during the athletes’ three-day tour of Ontario and Alberta as part of the 2014 Celebration of Excellence.

“The song pretty much sums up the whole week! It was great being able to have some fun with each other as we celebrated our achievements in Sochi,” said Calgary speedskater Gilmore Junio.

“Thank you again to the Canadian Olympic Committee for putting on such an amazing Celebration of Excellence.”

The video features more than 50 Canadian athletes as well as cameos by Calgary mayor Naheed Nenshi, Liberal leader Justin Trudeau and TV host George Stroumboulopoulos.
