SASKATOON – The pride of Weyburn, Saskatchewan is giving back to help children in the province.
Graham DeLaet and his wife Ruby announced the official launch of their new charity foundation on Monday, which will focus on improving the health and wellness of children, as well developing junior golfers in the province.
“It is important to Ruby and I that we do what we can to give back to those who need it the most. We hope that through this foundation, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of children,” said DeLaet, a star on the PGA Tour.
“It’s important that our Foundation represents Graham’s roots and keeps Canada and Saskatchewan close to his heart,” added his wife Ruby.

The Graham and Ruby DeLaet Foundation’s first initiative, the Graham Slam, will be held at Saskatoon’s Riverside Country Club and will benefit the new Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan.
The inaugural charity event will combine entertainment, music and golf on July 8-9.
Saskatchewan is one of two provinces in Canada without a dedicated children’s hospital.
