HALIFAX – Halifax police have charged a 69-year-old man with attempted murder after an argument ended in a stabbing.
Police allege the victim, a 61-year-old man, was stabbed in the stomach Wednesday night during an altercation with another man.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
A suspect was subdued by witnesses until police arrived on the scene on Portland Street in Dartmouth.
Police say the accused also faces numerous weapons-related charges.
