Prestige Telecom explores strategic alternatives, could include selling company

MONTREAL – Prestige Telecom Inc. (TSXV:PR) says it is exploring strategic alternatives which could include refinancing, a merger or a sale of the company.

The provider of a variety of technical services to Canadian communications companies said Monday that the move comes as it reviews its capital structure.

The company noted that it can not assure that a transaction will take place, and it will not provide any further updates until one does, or until the company decides not to pursue a transaction.

Prestige provides network engineering, installation and support for wireless and wireline phone services and cable television networks. It employs 1,000 people and operates at 19 service locations in nine provinces.
