Vipers drop to 1-2 at RBC Cup

VERNON–The host Vernon Vipers took on the only undefeated team left in the preliminary round of  the 2014 RBC Cup Tuesday night.

The Dauphin Kings out to a big lead with four unanswered goals.

The Vipers did manage to net two in the final frame but couldn’t dig themselves out of the hole.

Top tournament goal scorer, Colton Sparrow scored once.

Vipers captain Ryan Renz had the other Vernon goal.

The final score, 5-2 Kings.

The Kings wrap up first place in the preliminary round.

The Vipers next action is Thursday night against the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots.
