Former NBA player and Inside the NBA host Charles Barkley stirred up controversy this week with comments he made on his show while discussing the San Antonio Spurs.

When one of the hosts asked what kind of women are in San Antonio, Barkley replied with, “Oh there some big ol’ women down there.”

As the segment continues, Barkley continued to discuss the women of San Antonio.

The San Antonio Spurs are currently leading 2-0 in their playoff series against the Portland Trailblazers.

Some users on Twitter did not like Barkley’s comments:

A reporter took to the streets to ask some women in San Antonio what they think about Barkley’s comments. Many responded with answers targeting Barkley’s appearance, “did he ever have hair, or has he always been bald?”

Barkley replied to the video by saying that there are attractive women in San Antonio, and that he thinks it is a great city. Barkley did not apologize, however, and continued to mock certain women in San Antonio.

In an Inside the NBA segment, some of the hosts quiz Barkley on his Canadian knowledge. The quiz called, “All Aboot Canada, Eh!” asks various Canadian questions such as, “What is the name of Toronto’s football team?” which Barkley answered correctly.

The quiz also poked fun at Barkley for having trouble with pronouncing the name of Toronto Raptors player, Jonas Valanciunas. A video was sent to Barkley from Valanciunas of him saying, “Hey Chuck, I can say your last name, Barkley. Why you can’t say mine?”
