SASKATOON – A gun scare that turned out to be false forced a brief lock down at a Saskatoon school Thursday morning.
Police were called to Mount Royal Collegiate in the 400-block of Avenue W North around 11:15 a.m. after receiving a report three teens had entered the school.

One of the teens was allegedly carrying a gun.
The high school immediately began its lock down procedure while police investigated.

It was quickly determined no firearm had been brought to the school and there was no threat to students or staff.
The school has resumed regular activities.
