BROSSARD – NDP officials on the South Shore rallied their constituents early Saturday to mobilize against tolls on the future Champlain Bridge.
Brossard-La Prairie MP Hoang Mai, his fellow MPs and volunteers went door-to-door, urging residents to sign a petition and fight the federal government’s plan.

“If you speak to also Denis Coderre the Mayor of Montreal and all the mayors of Montreal, they’re all against a toll,” said Mai.
“So basically what we’ve seen is no consultation, no collaboration from the federal government with all the people that have to deal with the Champlain bridge.”
