TORONTO — Actor Kevin Spacey lends his voice to a video game character that bears an remarkable resemblance to Kevin Spacey.
The 54-year-old star portrays the antagonist in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, according to a trailer posted online Thursday.

“Democracy is not what these people need. Hell, it’s not even what they want,” Spacey’s character declares. “These countries don’t have the most basic building blocks to support a democracy.”
The trailer for the highly-anticipated new game in the Call of Duty franchise — captured on the Xbox One — was viewed more than 1.2 million times in its first 24 hours.
The game envisions futuristic battlegrounds dominated by technology.
Previous Call of Duty games have featured the voices of stars like Gary Oldman, Michelle Rodriguez and Kiefer Sutherland.
The series has sold more than 100 million copies.
Fans of the game series who are excited by the Advanced Warfare trailer are in for an excruciating wait, though. The game doesn’t go on sale until November 4.
