DECATUR – Authorities say a suburban Atlanta man suspected of stabbing his parents to death with a samurai sword has been arrested and is being questioned by police.
DeKalb County Police spokeswoman Mekka Parish says the bodies of a 73-year-old woman and her 75-year-old husband were found by a relative who visited their house Thursday afternoon.

Parish says the couple’s 39-year-old son was identified as a suspect and was found at a nearby park less than two hours after his parents’ deaths were reported.
Parish says authorities have not filed formal charges against the man, and the victims’ identities haven’t been released.
Parish said investigators were awaiting a warrant to search the rest of the victims’ house Thursday evening.
