MOOSE JAW, Sask. – The bronze medal game for the 2014 Telus Cup was decided in overtime at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

The Okanagan Rockets were up against the Toronto Young Nationals on Sunday.

In the end, Linden Hora scored his second goal of the game 3:28 into overtime, giving the Okanagan Rockets a 3-2 victory.

This is the first medal for the Rockets in their first appearance at Canada’s AAA midget hockey championship.

The Okanagan Rockets are the fifth B.C. team to win its way into the national tournament since 1984.

B.C. has won one gold medal in the tournament’s 40-year history.

Telus Cup gold was between the Grenadiers de Châteauguay and the Prince Albert Mintos. The Mintos won in overtime 4-3.
