EDMONTON – Former premier Alison Redford has allegedly been spotted in California, after weeks of absence from the Alberta Legislature.
Pictures of Redford and her daughter at a restaurant in Palm Springs surfaced on a Calgary man’s Facebook page Saturday.
Redford, who is still the MLA for Calgary-Elbow, hasn’t been in the Alberta Legislature since stepping down as premier last month.
On Thursday, the former premier served official notice to the speaker that she will continue to be absent from sessions. However, the reason behind the absence is confidential.
