WATCH: San Jose Sharks make hockey fan’s dream come true

Sam Tageson realized a lifelong dream of joining his beloved San Jose Sharks as the team signed the 17-year-old to a one-day contract. Tageson suffers from a serious heart condition which he’s had since birth.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Sharks Foundation made Tageson’s dream happen as the youngster got to suit up, practice, and hang out with the team for the day.

But, the best was saved for last when Tageson got to skate out from the massive Shark head during pre-game warmups becoming the only non-player in team history to do so. Tageson also stood at centre ice with the rest of the Sharks for the national anthem.

Unfortunately, the Sharks lost the game but it’s clear that Sam’s impact on the team was felt.
