Winnipeg Jets look to end losing ways as they face Rangers

With their playoff hopes fading fast, the Winnipeg Jets will try to put an end to a five game losing streak as they host the New York Rangers at MTS Centre Friday.

The Jets have fallen five points back of the Dallas Stars who hold down the second Wild Card playoff spot in the Western Conference with 74 points to the Jets 69.

The Jets have earned three of a possible 10 points during their slide, thanks to shootout losses against the Islanders and Canucks and an overtime setback versus the Avalanche.
