Suspects carry small tasers during attempted break in

HALIFAX – Police are on the hunt for two masked men, following a botched break and enter.

It happened at 9:40 p.m. Wednesday on Moran Street, said Staff Sgt. Barb Saunders. A 22-year-old man called police to report two men attempted to break into his home.

He said the pair tried to barge inside and were each carrying a small taser. The resident managed to fight them off and the suspects left. The 21-year-old man was not injured.

Police are now looking for two masked men, wearing dark clothing. It is believed the men were driving a silver car with a loud muffler.

Anyone with information about the case is advised to call police or Crime Stoppers.
