CALGARY – One person had to be taken to hospital with minor injuries after a house fire in Martindale on Friday.
Emergency crews rushed to Martha’s Meadow Bay N.E. around 4:30 p.m.

All of the residents had been able to escape the home before firefighters arrived.
The fire was extinguished quickly, and EMS transported one man to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what sparked the blaze.
So far, police haven’t released a damage estimate.
