Toronto Morning: What you need to know today

TORONTO – Finance Minister Jim Flaherty will stand in the House of Commons at about 4 p.m. ET and deliver the budget to Canadians.

The Harper Conservatives are promising the document will contain measures to help alleviate youth unemployment and to rebuild some roads and other infrastructure.

It’s also expected to include a pledge to balance the federal books before the next election in 2015.
