Warrant issued for Calgary man’s arrest after stabbings

CALGARY- A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Calgary man, following a series of stabbings in southwest Calgary.

Three people were stabbed—two in what are believed to be random attacks—near Westbrook Mall on January 5.

Police have already charged Dayna Lawrence Noname, 25, with three counts of aggravated assault in connection with the case.

They are now looking for Gary John Contois, 21, of Calgary. He is described as 5’10” tall, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
