  • 2013 World Championship Silver Medallist (team relay).
  • 2012 World Championship Bronze Medallist (team relay).

Interesting Fact: In a sport largely dominated by Germans, Edney has set international records for a Canadian, finishing 5th in the World Championship and 7th at the 2010 games in Vancouver.

Chances: Singles luge has never been an area of strength for Canada but in the relay events Edney leads a Canadian team that could compete for a medal in Sochi.
