PILOT BUTTE, Sask. – A Regina man is facing a variety of charges after two 9-1-1 calls in the community of Belle Plaine, Sask.

Early Friday morning, RCMP received a 9-1-1 call after an unknown person tried to steal a truck occupied by two people.

Another caller reported someone had damaged a veranda window at a home and then fled on foot.

RCMP arrested a man walking down a rural road who matched the witnesses’ description.

Further investigation resulted in 10 charges being laid against Anthony Lamb, 30, for assault, unlawful confinement, mischief, theft of motor vehicle and uttering threats.

He is being held in custody until his next appearance in Regina provincial court on Monday.
