TORONTO — Half of the Top 10 shows on Canadian television in 2013 were on Global, including the No. 1 drama.
History, owned by Global’s parent company Shaw Media, had the two highest-rated series of the year on specialty TV.
Under the Dome, a summer hit on Global starring Montreal native Rachelle Lefevre, had an audience of 2.43 million.
According to year-end data from BBM Canada, The Blacklist — starring Nova Scotia’s Diego Klattenhoff — ranked No. 4 for the year with an audience of 2.2 million on Global.

NCIS and Bones finished the year as the No. 6 and No. 7 shows respectively and NCIS: Los Angeles was No. 10.
Four of the year’s Top 10 new series in Canada air on Global — Under the Dome, The Blacklist, Sleepy Hollow and Vegas. All but Vegas have been renewed for another season.
Global had two comedy hits in 2013: The Millers, starring Toronto native Will Arnett, ranked No. 6 and The Simpsons finished as the No. 9 comedy.
Survivor, with 2.3 million viewers, was the third highest-rated competition series in Canada, bested only by The Amazing Race Canada and The Amazing Race.
The two highest-rated series on a specialty channel in 2013 were The Bible and Vikings — both of which aired on History. The latter was also the No. 9 Canadian series of the year.
Big Brother Canada on Slice ranked No. 6.
Global’s Rookie Blue was the second highest-rated Canadian series of 2013 behind The Amazing Race Canada. Bomb Girls ranked No. 8.
