WINNIPEG – Police called to a West Kildonan apartment block for a motor vehicle collision Sunday evening found a man who had been shot.
The 23-year-old man found in a vehicle outside an apartment block at 445 Partridge Ave. was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

He was in stable condition on Monday morning, police said.
An area around the apartment block was still blocked off with police tape on Monday morning. The major crimes unit is investigating.
Police released little information, saying interviews of possible witnesses continue.
