CALGARY- An Alberta prison was put into lockdown on Thursday, after a staff member was assaulted.
The injured employee was found around 9:30 a.m. at the Drumheller Institution. They were transported to hospital in stable condition, treated and released.

The inmate responsible for the assault has been identified and transferred. However, the warden ordered a lockdown of the medium-security facility.
RCMP are now investigating.
